“Education is the most powerful weapon
which you can use to change the world”
Nelson Mandela • South African president and activist
I am passionate about empowering students and mentees to think critically and engage meaningfully with their communities and society. I developed and taught the undergraduate course Psychology of Gender at NC State University for five semesters, and I currently teach Psychological Statistics at North Carolina A&T State University. My priorities in the classroom are ensuring my students feel safe, respected, and valued, as well as making education equitable, accessible, and enjoyable.
I’ve guest lectured in courses related to Psychology, Public Health, Gender Studies, and Professional Development. I’ve also given invited talks on adolescent sexual health, sexual communication, and digital health.
I’m happy to come speak with your class or community group! Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
