“Education is the most powerful weapon
which you can use to change the world”

I am passionate about empowering students and mentees to think critically and engage meaningfully with their communities and society. I developed and taught the undergraduate course Psychology of Gender at NC State University for five semesters, and I currently teach Psychological Statistics at North Carolina A&T State University. My priorities in the classroom are ensuring my students feel safe, respected, and valued, as well as making education equitable, accessible, and enjoyable.
I’ve guest lectured in courses related to Psychology, Public Health, Gender Studies, and Professional Development. I’ve also given invited talks on adolescent sexual health, sexual communication, and digital health.
As a community psychologist, I firmly believe in the importance of disseminating knowledge beyond traditional academic spaces. I welcome opportunities to share my research and insights with diverse audiences, including university classes, K–12 schools, LGBTQ+ centers, community events, and more! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss potential collaborations or speaking engagements.
